Toolstation Roadshow Rolls into Town!

We were delighted to host the Toolstation Roadshow in our Brickwork Workshop this week.

This nationwide tour featuring major trade brands offered live product demonstrations, discounts and giveaways, and expert advice and gave students direct access to supplier representatives and industry insights.

Students from across Bricklaying, Multiskills, Electrical, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Plumbing, and Mechanics were able to visit exhibitor stands from BPC Building Products, Milwaukee Tool, Rhinobuild Construction Tools, Bosch, Mexco UK, Soudal UK, Ryobi Tools, Luceco Group, SIP Industrial Products, Ciret UK, CT1, Evolution Power Tools, and of course Roadshow hosts Toolstation.

Tasked with researching new products, listening to company representatives, and making new discoveries this interactive roadshow really gave students the opportunity for vital insight into the construction industry.

Elena Racovita, Business Development Manager at Toolstation said, “This event is intended to teach students how to communicate with suppliers, how to discuss their needs in terms of equipment, materials, and tools and to make those important connections.

“We think it’s really important to support students form an early age as they develop into the workforce of the future.”

Martin Lofthouse, Head of Construction at Craven College added, “Today gave our students chance to mix with industry professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers to see modern tools, materials, and industry specific resources. The opportunity to talk to experts and get demonstrations is really important so students are familiar with the tools and equipment when they enter the world of work.”
