Ready to build on your plastering skills and gain a recognised qualification for the construction industry?
This Level 1 course is designed to develop your existing plastering skills and provide you with a recognised qualification to support your progression into the construction industry. It is ideal for those who have completed an introductory course and are looking to take the next step.
You will gain a more in-depth understanding of plastering techniques while developing practical skills in a workshop environment. The course focuses on building confidence, accuracy and safe working practices, preparing you for entry-level roles within the industry.
What you’ll cover:
- Introduction to health and safety in construction
- Preparing surfaces for plastering
- Plastering walls and ceilings
- Rendering techniques
- Working with plasterboard
- Creating simple moulds and finishes
Entry Requirements
You must have completed an introductory course in Plastering
Information
All plastering materials required are included in the course fee.
For your safety and comfort, please bring:
- Old clothes or overalls
- Safety/stout footwear
- Long hair tied back
- No valuable jewellery
- A drink and snack (there will be a break)
