Plastering

Learn the skills of a professional plasterer and set yourself up for life with a trade which is always in demand. Practise specialist finishes and techniques such as decorative render, fibrous plastering and skimming ceilings.

Experience our excellent industry standard facilities and work towards becoming a master craftsman within the plastering trade with the skills to apply different external finishes under your belt. As a Plastering student, you will have access to bespoke bays for solid plastering and plaster boarding along with a serpentine wall (exclusively for Level 3) and a fibrous workshop for architectural plasterwork.

Our award winning tutors are specialist craftspeople and have many year’s experiences in the construction industry in both large and small businesses with specialisms in heritage and conservation work. You will have the opportunity to enter the prestigious CITB Skill Build competition where Craven College plastering students have enjoyed great success year on year.

All tools, equipment and materials are provided.
