Exams 2022 – Travelling to College – Important Reminder

Due to a number of roadworks taking place in the local area including A59, please check your route to college prior to arriving for your exam, and allow plenty of time for your journey to avoid any disruption to your arrival time.

Please find below guidelines on Late Arrivals for Exams:

If you arrive within one hour of the awarding body’s published starting time for an examination, which lasts an hour or more, (i.e. candidates arriving between 9.00am and 10.00am for a morning examination or between 1.30pm and 2.30pm for an afternoon examination) you will be allowed to enter the examination room and sit the examination.

If you are very late (i.e. more than one hour after the awarding body’s published starting time for an examination which lasts one hour or more, i.e. after 10.00am for a morning examination or after 2.30pm for an afternoon examination) you will be allowed to sit the examination, however, please note:

The Examination Centre will need to submit form JCQ/VLA-Report with details of the candidate who has been admitted very late to an examination room and provide:

Please note that despite the Centre allowing the candidate to sit their examination, the awarding body still may not accept their script.
