We support mature students with few formal qualifications but with life experience and help to create pathways to life-changing opportunities. Many adults have the potential and ability to study for a Degree or professional qualification but have been unable to do so because their education was disrupted due to family, financial, social or personal circumstances. You will be given support and guidance throughout the UCAS application process so that when you have completed the course you can fast-track straight onto your chosen Degree.

Paying for your course

If you take out an Advanced Learner Loan to fund an Access to HE course, then go on to complete a Higher Education course, you’ll be eligible to have the balance of your Advanced Learner Loan written off.*

*If you don’t complete either course, you won’t be eligible to have the balance written off, and will need to repay your loan in full.

We’re committed to provide you with a quality education and feedback on our Access to HE courses from a recent CAVA External Moderation Report says:

Developmental feedback to the students is exemplary. The staff always provide three points of written feedback to support students further learning. I have seen this year on year and commend the staff for this as it helps students to further improve their academic skills and performance.

Students are very content and complementary of their course(s). Staff are very engaged and supportive of the students. Some of the work sampled was of very high standard and quality, demonstrating that those who want to achieve high are supported in their learning journey.
