Want to transform your home with confidence? Learn the essential skills and techniques needed for successful wallpapering.

This introductory course is ideal for beginners who would like to learn the practical skills needed for wallpapering. Whether you have little or no experience, this course will help you build confidence to carry out your own home improvement projects.

Delivered in a hands-on workshop environment, you will gain practical experience using a range of tools and materials. With guidance from experienced tutors, you will develop the knowledge and skills required to prepare surfaces and apply wallpaper effectively.

By the end of the course, you will feel confident in tackling wallpapering projects in your own home.

What you’ll cover:

  • Preparing surfaces for wallpapering
  • Measuring and planning areas to be papered
  • Applying wallpaper correctly
  • Working around corners
  • Wallpapering in recesses
  • Working neatly around plug sockets

 

Entry Requirements

No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.

All materials required are included in the course fee.

For your safety and comfort, please bring:

  • Old clothes or overalls
  • Safety/stout footwear
  • Long hair tied back
  • No valuable jewellery
  • A drink and snack (there will be a break)
