Business Students Hear from Expert Speakers

Throughout their first half term, Business students have heard from a range of guest speakers to complement their classroom learning.

We were delighted to welcome Hannah Garside – Independent Financial Advisor and Ashley Waddington, Financial Advisor from Eccles Greenwood Financial Planning who gave learners a glimpse of what it is really like to work in the financial sector.

Sarah Collett from SBS Studio visited us on campus and gave learners a fascinating insight into the world of marketing.

Finally, Hannah Cockell from Hebridean Cruises came to campus to give Business students an opportunity to focus on the Hebridean business model – learning top tips for success! Whilst Business students also discussed marketing with Hannah, Travel and Tourism students learned about life in the tourist industry within a well-known brand!

Throughout each of the sessions, our students were engaged with the topics and asked a range of insightful and thoughtful questions, getting the absolute most from these valuable guest speakers.
