Lecturer – Aviation & Travel

Prior to becoming a Lecturer in Aviation and Travel, I built a diverse career across the travel and aviation industries. I held Store Manager positions with TUI and Kuoni, gaining extensive experience in retail travel and customer service leadership. I then moved into airline operations, working in Operations Control for Jet2, before becoming Cabin Crew with British Airways and Aer Lingus. Alongside my professional experience, I am passionate about supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing, and I am committed to promoting awareness and positive outcomes for young people.

My Qualifications...

  • Certificate in Education Level 5 (in progress)

  • Child Counselling Level 3

  • Challenging Behaviour in Young People Level 3

  • Understanding Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Level 2

Did you know...
  • I have spent 76 hours on a plane! (During Covid, I flew to Singapore to bring back PPE and equipment for the NHS, but we wouldn’t get off the aircraft)
  • My favourite band of all time are the Foo Fighters!
