Craven College Apprentice celebrates recognition at Great Yorkshire Show

Everyone at Craven College is delighted to offer their congratulations to Eleanor Greenwood, who was awarded Best Agricultural Student by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show.

Eleanor (pictured with Lecturer in Agriculture Graham Taylor), who completed her Level 2 Stockperson Apprenticeship with a distinction, is now studying for her Level 3 Livestock Unit Technician Apprenticeship was delighted to attend the Great Yorkshire Show and to receive her certificate.

Alongside her College studies, Eleanor completes the employment part of her Apprenticeship with Jonathan and Jeanette Shorrock at Hole House Farm in Cliviger.

Kate Fryer, Apprenticeship Coordinator said, Eleanor is a model student, she has outstanding written work, excellent attendance and has always shown a greater depth of understanding of agriculture. Eleanor is a competent stockperson, and her confidence has grown so much over the past two years. She has a positive attitude towards work and College, always has a smile on her face, and is a real pleasure to have around.
