Land and Wildlife Students Visit Local Moors
Published 20 September
Aren’t we lucky to have spaces like this on our doorstep?!
This week our Level 3 Land and Wildlife Year 2 students spent a morning gathering the sheep off the moor on Bolton Abbey Estate with the local farmers.
Danielle Fox, Head of Department for Land-Based Provision said, “A really important part of the students visit was to learn about the value of managed moorland rather than letting the space go completely wild, and the diverse range of species thriving within that landscape.”
Just look at those views!
