Our full-time courses and Electrician Apprenticeships are designed for students aged 16 and over who want to gain real-world skills and technical knowledge in a high-demand sector.

As an aspiring electrician, you’ll learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes, businesses, and industrial settings. Training takes place in our fully equipped, industry-standard workshops, where you’ll work with professional tools and materials to develop your confidence and competence. From wiring buildings to fixing faults, you’ll gain the practical experience needed to succeed in the workplace.

There are many different types of electricians you can become:

– Installation Electrician – set up power systems, lighting, fire alarms, security and data networks in buildings
– Maintenance Electrician – check and repair electrical systems to keep them safe and efficient
– Electrotechnical Panel Builder – create and install control panels for systems like heating or alarms
– Machine Repair and Rewind Electrician – fix motors and transformers used in industrial equipment
– Highway Systems Electrician – install and maintain street lighting and traffic control systems

You’ll be taught by experienced tutors who are qualified tradespeople with years of industry experience. You’ll also have the chance to showcase your skills in national competitions like the CITB SkillBuild, giving you valuable experience and recognition. All tools, materials, and equipment are provided, so you can focus on building your skills and preparing for a successful career.
