There are many different types of electricians you can become:
- Installation Electrician – set up power systems, lighting, fire alarms, security and data networks in buildings
- Maintenance Electrician – check and repair electrical systems to keep them safe and efficient
- Electrotechnical Panel Builder – create and install control panels for systems like heating or alarms
- Machine Repair and Rewind Electrician – fix motors and transformers used in industrial equipment
- Highway Systems Electrician – install and maintain street lighting and traffic control systems
Our experienced tutors are qualified tradespeople with years of experience across both large-scale and specialised projects, including heritage and conservation work. You’ll also have the chance to test your skills in the national CITB SkillBuild competition. All tools, materials and equipment are provided – so you can focus on building your skills and your future.
