Aviation and Travel students have been participating in an action-packed week-long World of Work (WoW) event.
Aviation students, who are part of The Aviation Academy, based airside at Leeds Bradford airport, along with Travel students at our Skipton campus, have taken part in fun and engaging demonstrations, visits, trips and experiences, to give them a greater understanding of the world of Aviation and Travel.
Sessions have included guest speakers inspiring our students through their experiences and knowledge from all aspects of the Aviation industry, airside tours of the runway of Leeds Bradford Airport, cabin and flight simulators and so much more.
Through its strong partnerships with the Aviation and Travel industries, the WoW week showcases key companies and spokespeople in bringing careers to life, giving our students real-life insider knowledge and first-hand experiences. The week-long sessions were possible through the generous participation of companies such as Jet2, Leeds Bradford Airport, FlyMe.co.uk, as well as all the industry individuals who have taken the time to give our students such a positive experience.
