Level 3 Art and Design students have been exploring the local area for inspiration and research for their final major project this week.

The students visited Skipton Town Hall Museum and Exhibition and ventured around Skipton Woods and Holy Trinity church to seek out points of interest to use within their artistic projects.

The students develop their own personal project ideas across a range of art specialisms which results in their own exhibition at the End of Year Show that takes place on 13 June.

LauraLee Brennand, Lecturer in Art & Design said, “Students were able to gain a wide range of research from the trip, finding inspiration on our walk through the park and woods, in the church and in Skipton Town Hall museum. It was a very successful trip!”

More details about Craven College’s End of Year Show will be published on our website in the coming weeks.
