Plastering students at Craven College have taken time out of their busy curriculum to create a Euro 2024 wall, just in time for kick off this Friday!
Ably assisted by Construction Trades (Multi-Skills) and Painting & Decorating students, the imposing piece offers a homage to the upcoming competition, which kicks off in Munich on Friday 14th June.
Steven Syers, Lecturer in Plastering said, “it’s great to be able to give our students the chance to be creative and have a bit of fun whilst using the skills they have learned throughout the year.”
It isn’t the first time Plastering students have incorporated the beautiful game into their learning, with the creation of a replica of the Jules Rimet trophy, made of plaster, during the World Cup.
Let’s hope England’s passage through the tournament is as smooth!
