Media Students started their new unit with a bang as they welcomed renowned DJ Brian Wilkinson from Drystone Radio to College.
Year 1 Creative Media Level 3 and Level 2 students heard from Brian about the world of radio: hearing the unique perspectives from an industry expert. Students were then given a tour of the industry standard software Myriad and experimented with introducing music as part of a radio show. All vital skills for future radio stars!
Following the visit, students then recorded some announcements which were broadcast on Drystone Radio that evening.
