Creative Media Lecturer

I have been working in education since 2011, initially as a schoolteacher but more recently as a further and higher education lecturer. Prior to education, I worked in technical theatre, broadcasting and IT; a diverse range of jobs that has helped me bring my industry skills to my teaching. I’ve worked closely with Bangor University in North Wales, writing and validating several degree courses in media, games development, performing arts, and computing.

My Qualifications...

  • BSc (Hons) Multimedia Technologies (First Class)

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

  • Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy (SFHEA)

Did you know...
  • In the early 2000s I worked on some of the earliest streaming media technologies, now used in Netflix, Disney+ and iPlayer
  • In 2023 I co-wrote my first book, ‘Free for All’ about the cult 1967 tv show The Prisoner
