Creative Digital Media Production

You will have access to an extensive range of professional-standard equipment, including HD and 4K DSLR cameras, drones, RGB mobile lighting kits, professional sound recording equipment, dollies and motorised Steadicams. All equipment is available for use on both college and independent project work, allowing you to build an impressive portfolio and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Our industry-standard facilities ensure you develop the practical skills employers and universities are looking for. You will benefit from full access to Adobe Creative Cloud, both on campus and at home, alongside high-performance Windows workstations capable of handling demanding creative projects. Students also have access to two fully operational radio stations equipped with professional audio editing and production software, as well as our live television studio featuring a vision mixer and a recently refurbished state-of-the-art lighting rig.

Throughout the course, you will create media products across a range of platforms, developing expertise in planning, production, editing and communication. You will explore television and radio broadcasting, social media content creation, print journalism, factual production, sound design and broadcast journalism, while learning how to communicate effectively with different audiences and for different purposes.
