You’ll train in our brand new state-of-the-art facilities, packed with industry-standard equipment. Whether you’re a full-time student or starting an Apprenticeship, you’ll get real experience and confidence using the tools and techniques of the trade.

In your first year, you’ll explore all aspects of construction through our Multi-Skills programme, before specialising in carpentry and joinery in your second year. Choose between Site Joinery or Bench Joinery, working in our fully equipped workshop and machine shop with dedicated project spaces.

Our expert tutors are skilled craftspeople with years of experience in the construction industry, including specialist work in heritage and conservation. You’ll even have the chance to compete in the prestigious CITB SkillBuild competition, showcasing your talents on a national stage. All tools, materials and equipment are provided – just bring your passion and ambition.
