Craven Equine approved by The British Horse Society

Recently Craven Equine was inspected by The British Horse Society and the results are in! Craven College Equine division is an approved Riding Centre and Livery Centre. 

Craven College – Equine received the following grades for their Centre Approval: 

  • Horse Care: Highly Commended 
  • Client Experience: Highly Commended 
  • Coaching Standards: Highly Commended 
  • Hacking and Riding Out: Highly Commended 
  • Tack and Equipment: Highly Commended 
  • Grassland and Turnout: Highly Commended 
  • Safeguarding: Fully Compliant 
  • Working Practice: Highly Commended 
  • Livery Facilities: Highly Commended 

From their visit to the College, The British Horse Society commented, “Craven College has a brand new facility in which to deliver its established equine qualifications through City and Guilds. It has been very well thought out and is immaculately managed and run. The horses are all treated individually and look well and contented, with staff committed to excellent standards of both horse welfare and student tuition. The College has a facility to be proud of and which will enhance what is available to local horses and riders.”
