Want to know how to name that plant or find out what’s living in your pond? This hands on course will introduce you to plant and wildlife identification skills.

Wildlife is seasonal and the weather can be unpredictable so the exact content and order may vary.

During this course, you will cover:

  • Introduction to wildlife surveys and tree identification.
  • Using quadrats and botanical keys.
  • Pondlife and microscopes
  • Hedgerow survey

Information

This will be a mixture of classroom and outside sessions so please wear outdoor shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
