You will gain valuable hands-on experience, preparing you to work alongside veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. On successful completion, you will be ready to pursue employment as a veterinary care assistant or progress to further training in the veterinary sector. This course offers an excellent foundation for those passionate about animal care within the veterinary setting it is designed to provide you with the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to excel in the veterinary field.
This course will be a mixture of practical tasks, theory and online learning. You will compile a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your practical skills, knowledge, and understanding.
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal academic entry requirements for this course.
- However, you must be working (paid or voluntary) in a veterinary practice to complete the practical elements of the qualification
