During this course you will gain two qualifications:
- Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges

It is expected that students will complete homework outside of the classroom.
Entry Requirements
- Commitment to the full duration of the course is required.
- Part of your assessment requires you to be observed, so you must have a placement (either as a volunteer or as a member of staff, for at least one day per week) in a school environment.
- It is preferred that you have some experience of working with children or have completed a level 1 qualification, however this isn’t essential as you will have an initial assessment to ensure that you are on the correct course.
- You should also have a maths and English qualification at Level 2 or be planning to achieve these.
