Do you want to know how to buy a beer in Barcelona? Or tapas in Toledo? Come along to the class and learn how to check in at a hotel or campsite, hire a car, go shopping, and ask for directions, as well as ordering food and drink.
You will learn through listening to authentic Spanish speakers, practising short conversations with each other, reading signs and short notices, and writing emails. The emphasis will be on communication rather than grammar and, as we progress, you will be given an insight into both Spanish and Latin American traditions and culture.
Do you know Spanish is not only spoken in Spain, South and Central America, but is also now widely spoken in many states in the USA. Whether for business or pleasure, knowing some basic Spanish will make your dealings with Spanish speakers much more enjoyable.
