Suitable for beginners, this short course is packed full of handy hints to help you improve your DIY painting skills – giving you the knowledge and confidence to complete an array of projects after the course has ended.

This course provides a practical introduction to painting and decorating, helping you develop the skills and confidence needed to complete a range of DIY projects. Delivered in a well-equipped workshop by experienced tutors, the course offers a supportive and hands-on learning environment.

You will learn how to prepare surfaces, apply paint effectively and work with different materials. The course is designed to build your confidence while developing essential techniques that can be applied to projects at home or as a starting point for further training.

What you’ll cover:

  • Preparing surfaces for painting
  • Applying paint using brushes and rollers
  • Working with foundation papers
  • Hanging foundation papers
  • Understanding different application techniques
  • Achieving a professional finish

Entry Requirements

No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
