This one-day introductory course is designed to help you develop practical hair styling skills using professional salon techniques. Working with a training head block, you will learn how to create a classic, adaptable hairstyle while gaining expert tips for blow-drying and styling.
The session also includes a short theory element covering hair products, their uses and how to select the right products for different hair types and styles. You will also receive guidance on styling your own hair or someone you care for, helping you build confidence and practical skills you can apply at home.

Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required. This course is suitable for beginners or those with a general interest in hair styling.
Information
All equipment will be provided.
Practical work will be completed on training head blocks, with some opportunities for self-styling.
For your safety and comfort, please bring:
- Clothing suitable for a salon environment
- Closed-toe footwear must be worn
Tea, coffee and water will be available.
