Want to order a coffee in Rome or ask for directions with confidence? Start your language journey and learn practical Italian for everyday situations.

This beginner-friendly course is designed for those with little or no prior knowledge of Italian. Using a variety of engaging and interactive teaching methods, you will learn the basics of the language in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Throughout the course, you will develop your pronunciation and build essential vocabulary, enabling you to communicate in a range of everyday situations. You will practise speaking and listening skills while gaining confidence in using Italian for travel and social interactions.

By the end of the course, you will be able to hold simple conversations, understand key phrases and use the language in practical contexts.

 

What you’ll cover:

  • Basic pronunciation and the Italian alphabet
  • Numbers and telling the time
  • Greetings and introductions
  • Talking about yourself and where you live
  • Ordering food and drinks in cafes and restaurants
  • Shopping vocabulary and everyday transactions
  • Making hotel bookings
  • Asking for and understanding directions
  • Using descriptive language

This course uses a variety of teaching methods, including speaking, listening and interactive activities, to support learning in a relaxed environment.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. This course is suitable for complete beginners.
