Develop the skills and confidence needed to deliver excellent customer service and enhance every customer experience.
This qualification is designed to help you develop the knowledge and understanding needed to work effectively in a customer service environment and deliver high-quality service to customers.
You will learn how to understand customer needs, communicate effectively and manage a range of situations, including handling challenges and resolving problems. The course also supports you in developing teamwork skills and building positive relationships with customers.
Studying online allows you to learn at a time and pace that suits your work or home commitments, while still receiving structured support from experienced tutors.
What you’ll cover:
- Principles of customer service
- Understanding customers
- Understanding employer organisations
- Knowing how to process information about customers
- Understanding how to communicate with customers verbally and in writing
- Understanding how to develop customer relationships
- Understanding how to resolve customer service problems and challenges
For each unit, you will complete a set of knowledge-based questions as part of the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback after each unit. All assessments must be completed and passed to successfully achieve the qualification.

Level 1 or equivalent English language qualification required.
