Media students have had an exciting chance to participate in some real hands-on work experience by producing some instructional videos for a really diverse range of clients.
Media Year 1 students produced instructional videos for the Maternity Department of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, whilst another group created videos for Airedale Telemedicine (Health and Justice). The other half of the year group were tasked with producing videos for our own Tyro Training.
Year 2 Media have been working with Bingley Little Theatres creating promotional trailers.
Ben Pearson, Creative Media Lecturer & Technician said, “The Year 1 Level 3 and Level 2 Media students have been developing promotional videos and instruction videos for Airedale Hospital. These focused on two departments, Telemed and Maternity. The students have had some great feedback from the hospital regarding their projects, this was a fantastic experience for them as they built practical skills while working to a live client brief.”
The Airedale Midwives Team said, “Thank you so much to the talented students at Craven College for creating two videos for us!”
We are now taking applications for September 2025 for our Media courses!
