The film is in the can, you now need to edit it! Throughout this course we will look at editing skills and terminology and how to use these techniques in Premiere Pro 2025.
This course is an advancement to the Introduction to Filmmaking course. Within these seven weeks, you will explore post-production techniques, skills, and advancements in Premiere Pro CC 2025. If you didn’t study the Introduction to Filmmaking course, then you will need to provide some footage that you can edit during this course.
As with every production, there will be reshoots! Therefore, you will go over basic camera, lighting, and sound recording skills to ensure your production is at the highest standard it can be. The course will also explore sound technology, how to record and mix sound both live and in a studio. Lastly, you will gain a greater understanding of editing software and how to effectively edit with the Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
You should complete the course feeling confident and comfortable with using camera equipment in manual mode, knowing how to do a basic lighting set-up for a shot, recording excellent sound, and having an intermediate understanding of Premiere Pro CC 2025 and some other post-production apps in Creative Cloud.
By the end of the course, you should have a completed visual product that you can take away to put in your showreel. This course will enhance your filming knowledge and make you confident enough to advance your filmmaking journey.
