Craven College Film Festival: Tomorrow’s Filmmakers, Today’s Stories
Year 2 Creative Media students collaborated to put together a collection of documentaries to display to audiences at the 2025 Craven College Film Festival. Run wholly by students, all the films, print content, and on-the-day tech is carried out by students, with each student having their part to play from direction to event capture, photography to stage design, front of house to ticketing and much, much more!

Split into viewing blocks, staff and students were invited to book onto sessions to form the audience to share in the Media students’ work. Films on show included: –
Tourism in Malham – Robbie Watmough
Save Our Cinema – Joe Sutcliffe, Josh Newsome, Eli Coe

Ben Pearson, Lecturer in Creative Media said, “This film festival has provided the students with the opportunity to showcase their own work, this festival was managed and orchestrated by themselves. This was a huge effort and one the students really raised to, making Chris Bainbridge (Media Lecturer) and myself very proud.”
