Induction Day
Level 4 – Wednesday 21 September, 9.30am – 1.00pm and Thursday 22 September, 10.00am – 2.00pm. You must bring a copy of your Disclosure Scotland if not already sent to admissions over the summer. Dress code is business wear.
Level 5 – Wednesday 21 September, 9.30am – 1.00pm and Thursday 22 September, 10.00am – 2.00pm, 1:1 target setting. Appointments will be set up on Teams by your tutor.
Level 6 – Wednesday 21 September, 9.30am – 1.00pm and Thursday 22 September, 10.00am – 2.00pm
Foundation Degree – Pre-Entry Task
For those who are studying the Aviation Management & Operations FD and Aviation Management & Operations (Pilot Studies) FD you will need to complete a pre-entry task over the summer to bring to induction.
BSc (Hons) – Pre-Entry Task
For those who are studying Air Transport Management BSc (Hons), you will need to complete a pre-entry task over the summer to bring to induction.
Microsoft Teams
During your degree, we intend to use Microsoft Teams for work, and communication. Here are a few short videos to help you find your way around. I particularly recommend that you look at the Immersive reader.
Disclosure Scotland
Once you know you have a conditional offer for a course at The Aviation Academy, you will need to apply for a Disclosure Scotland.
Without a Disclosure, you will not be allowed to enrol on your chosen course, so it is imperative that you apply as soon as possible.

HARVARD REFERENCING
An ability to reference researched material is a key Higher Level Skill.
At Craven College, we use the University of Hull Harvard Referencing System. Don’t worry, we will teach you how to do this but we recommend that you browse the following website before starting on your Course.
