Induction Day

(Dresscode is Smart Business Suit)

Level 4

  • Tuesday 16 September 2025, 9:30am-3pm – Aviation Academy
  • Wednesday 17 September 2025, 9:30am-2pm – Off site team building

Level 5

  • Wednesday 17 September 2025, 9:30am-2pm – Off site team building
  • 1:1 Target setting appointments by Teams appointment between 17 -19 September 2025 – look out for calendar invite

 

Drivers must obtain a parking permit from Multiflight. This is £24 for the card and £10 per month for parking. Alternatively, parking is charged at £7 per day.

Pre-Entry Task

Level 4
For those who are studying the Aviation Management & Operations FdSc and Aviation Management & Operations (Pilot Studies) FdSc at Level 4 you will need to complete a pre-entry task over the summer to bring to induction.

Level 5
No task

 

Trips & visits

There is a proposed 2/3 night visit to the Airbus manufacturing site in Toulouse, France – approximate cost £500

Disclosure Scotland

Once you know you have a conditional offer for a course at The Aviation Academy, you will need to apply for a Disclosure Scotland.
Without a Disclosure, you will not be allowed to enrol on your chosen course, so it is imperative that you apply as soon as possible.

HARVARD REFERENCING

An ability to reference researched material is a key Higher Level Skill.

At Craven College, we use the University of Hull Harvard Referencing System. Don’t worry, we will teach you how to do this but we recommend that you browse the following website before starting on your Course.

Microsoft Teams

When you start your course you will be given access to a Course and HE Student Team. If you are unfamiliar with Teams here are some videos to familiarise yourself.
