At Craven College, we can offer you two different career routes into the sector; automotive or agricultural mechanics, and whichever route you choose will depend on your passion.

Choosing agricultural engineering and you’ll be contributing to a critical role in farming, food production and sustainability, and studying at our Auction Mart campus in Skipton, you’ll be well-placed for employment across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria.

You will work with a diverse range of machinery and equipment such as tractors, harvesting machinery, 4x4s, plant machinery and ground care machinery, developing a range of skills and knowledge perfect for a successful career.

If motor vehicles are your passion, then your career will benefit from the growing demand for skilled motor mechanics. As the automotive industry evolves and technology develops, your skills will too, and by studying with us, you’ll work on a range of conventional, hybrid and electrical vehicles giving you the breadth of knowledge needed in this sector.

You will be taught by mechanics industry specialists with a wealth of experience and skills in areas such as Construction Plant Repair, Motor Sports, Vehicle Repair and Specialist Agricultural Machinery who will give you the practical and theoretical knowledge you need, whether you choose to study as a full-time student or as an Apprentice.
