Lecturer in Science, Animal Studies and Vet Care Assistant

I am a registered veterinary nurse, leaving industry to retrain as a lecturer. I currently teach across science and animal courses with a particular interest in biology (human and animal).
Going forward I will be teaching the new VCA (vet care assistant) course – which is new to the college.

My Qualifications...

Certificate in Education
External examiner in veterinary nursing
A1 assessor in veterinary nursing
Diploma in veterinary nursing

Did you know...

I started my career as a trainee veterinary nurse at the ‘Animal hospital’ – if you remember the programme on TV in the late 90’s!
Even though I work with animals I have a huge fear of mice
