Workready Essentials is a short, intensive course designed to help you build confidence, develop key employability skills and prepare for the world of work. Over four days, you will take part in practical sessions focused on communication, digital skills and understanding workplace expectations.
This supportive course is ideal if you are returning to work, looking for your first job, or wanting to refresh your skills. You will gain practical experience and guidance to help you feel more confident and prepared for employment.
What you’ll cover:
- Digital skills for everyday workplace tasks
- Creating and updating a CV
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Interview preparation and techniques
- Awareness of basic business administration
- Building confidence and professionalism in the workplace
Sessions are interactive and hands-on, involving group activities, discussions and practical tasks. You will use computers for digital skills development and CV preparation.
