Take the first step into leadership and develop the skills and confidence needed to lead a team effectively.
This qualification is designed for you if you want to develop the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team in a business environment.
You will explore the core principles of team leading, including how businesses operate and how to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. The course helps you build confidence in leadership roles and develop the skills needed to support team performance and contribute to organisational success.
Studying online gives you the flexibility to learn at a time and pace that suits your work or home commitments, while still receiving structured support from experienced tutors.
What you’ll cover:
- Principles of team leading
- Understand business
- Understand how to communicate work-related information
- Health and safety procedures in the workplace
- Principles of developing working relationships with colleagues
- Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace
- Principles of managing performance and conflict in the workplace
- Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation
For each unit, you will complete a set of knowledge-based questions as part of the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback after each unit. All assessments must be completed and passed to successfully achieve the qualification.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 or equivalent English language and Maths qualification required.
