An introduction to cyber security. This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the sector whilst acting as a stepping stone that will lead to studying cyber security at a higher level.
This purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with sector awareness. It will do this by introducing the knowledge and understanding in roles and issues relating to Cyber Security. The secondary purpose is to act as a stepping stone that will lead learners into studying Cyber Security at a higher level.

- Understand legal and ethical aspects of cyber security
- Understand common threats to cyber security
- Understand methods of maintaining cyber security
- Working with others in cyber security
For each unit, a set of knowledge questions are issued as the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback following the completion of each. All assessments must be completed and passed in order for you to successfully achieve the qualification.
