This Festive workshop – perfect for beginners – will give you the skills needed to create your very own porcelain decorations you can bring out year after year to hang on your tree or decorate your home.
This workshop will elevate your creativity and give you the perfect introduction to the skills of working with ceramics to create beautiful pieces to decorate your home or to be given as the perfect Christmas gift. Taught in a supportive and nurturing environment, you will be encouraged to let your creativity free as you enjoy learning a new skill!
At the end of the session, your pieces will be available to take home.
What you’ll cover:
- An introduction to the medium of porcelain
- Learning the basics of creating hanging forms using porcelain
- A taster into surface pattern.
Entry Requirements
No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
Information
All materials required to make your decorations are included in the course fee.
For your safety and comfort, please bring:
- Closed-toe footwear
- Long hair tied back
- No valuable jewellery
- Optional: your own apron (aprons are also available to borrow)
- A drink and snack (there will be a short break)
