This course provides a comprehensive introduction to plumbing, combining practical training with essential theory. Suitable for beginners, it is designed to give you the skills and knowledge needed to carry out basic plumbing tasks and build confidence in a workshop environment.
Delivered by experienced tutors, you will learn a range of core skills that underpin the plumbing trade. Throughout the course, you will develop your understanding of installation, maintenance and repair techniques while working safely and effectively. On successful completion, you will gain a recognised qualification to support further training or progression into the industry.
What you’ll cover:
- Safe working practices in plumbing
- Preparing for plumbing tasks
- Installation of basic plumbing systems
- Repair and maintenance techniques
- Understanding key plumbing components and systems
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course. You will need to pass the assessment for each unit in order to achieve the qualification.

No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
