Build your understanding of mental health and learn how to support others, promote wellbeing and create a positive workplace culture.
This qualification is designed to help you develop knowledge and understanding of mental health and how to support individuals in the workplace and wider community. You will explore how to raise awareness, promote positive mental health and contribute to a culture of care and support.
You will gain insight into mental health conditions, understand how to respond appropriately to individuals who may need support, and learn how to help create mentally healthy environments. This course is suitable for a wide range of roles, particularly those working in customer service, housing, voluntary services, sport and recreation, hospitality or travel and tourism.
Studying online gives you the flexibility to learn at a time and pace that suits your work or home commitments, while still receiving structured support from experienced tutors.
What you’ll cover:
- Exploring mental health
- Understanding how to support individuals with mental ill health
- Understanding how to create and maintain a mentally healthy environment
For each unit, you will complete a set of knowledge-based questions as part of the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback after each unit. All assessments must be completed and passed to successfully achieve the qualification.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 or equivalent English language qualification required.
