Illustration – How to Draw your Pet Taster

Capture the character of your pet in a simple pencil drawing. This relaxed taster session will introduce you to the basics of sketching from a photograph.
In this enjoyable and informal session, you will explore how to turn a favourite photograph of your pet into a hand-drawn image. Focusing on more than just achieving a likeness, you will learn how to capture personality and expression through drawing.
You will be guided through simple techniques, including observing basic shapes, using line effectively, and building shading to create texture and depth. Working step by step with pencil or graphite, you will gain confidence and produce a drawing to take home.

Entry Requirements
No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.

All materials required are included in the course fee.
Please bring:
- A clear photograph of your pet to work from
- A drink and snack (there will be a short break)
