This course is suitable for adults over the age of 19 who have completed a Level 1 qualification in electrical or have experience of working as an electrician and are considering a career in the industry as a qualified electrician.
You will study all aspects of the electro-technical industry both in the classroom and in the workshop. This will include the design, installation and testing of electrical circuits and systems. Assessment is by on-line multi-choice tests and practical tasks (the practical assessment will be carried out over two full days).

- Health and safety in building services engineering
- Principles of electrical science
- Electrical installations technology
- Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
- Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering
