Interested in relaxation and wellbeing? Learn the basics of massage and discover simple techniques you can use at home.

This introductory one-day course provides a practical introduction to body massage techniques and their benefits. Suitable for beginners, it offers a relaxed and supportive environment to learn new skills.

Throughout the workshop, you will learn basic massage techniques that can be applied to the back, legs and arms. You will gain an understanding of how massage can help to reduce tension, promote relaxation and support overall wellbeing.

As this is a practical class, you will work with other learners to practise techniques, helping you to build confidence and develop your skills through hands-on experience.

What you’ll cover:

  • Introduction to body massage techniques
  • Understanding the benefits of massage for relaxation and wellbeing
  • Basic massage techniques for the back, legs and arms
  • Safe and appropriate application of massage techniques
  • Working confidently with others in a practical setting

This is a practical course where you will work with others in the group.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. This course is suitable for beginners and those interested in wellbeing and relaxation techniques.

You are advised to bring:

  • Loose, comfortable clothing
  • Flat footwear
  • A drink and snack (there will be a break)
