This qualification will focus on the study of mental health and mental well-being to support different occupational areas.

You will learn about mental health legislation, services and public attitudes and how these have evolved and how to support mental well-being through various stages of life. It will also cover mental ill-health, treatment options available and the potential consequences of mental ill-health and the skills required to work in a mental health service.

For each unit, a set of knowledge questions are issued as the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback following the completion of each. All assessments must be completed and passed in order for you to successfully achieve the qualification.
