Public Services courses

Following a recent announcement from the North Yorkshire Police to recruit more officers and police community support officers for the local area, Craven College highlights the benefits of studying a Public Services qualification as the ideal route into employment within the Public Services sector.

Craven College offers both Level 2 and Level 3 full-time Public Services courses for post-16 students and they prepare students for exciting roles within the Police, Fire Service, Army, Royal Navy, RAF and Prison Service. Whilst studying students will explore areas such as criminology, law, public safety, society and politics, looking at how these are linked to careers in the Public Services sector.

Anita Lall, Vice Principal for Curriculum & Quality at Craven College comments, “Our Public Services courses are a great route for young people to start their career in Public Services. Students will benefit from an expert team of tutors with years of experience and our strong links with local and regional Public Sector organisations allow our students to learn the skills and knowledge required to enter this rewarding sector.”

For anyone interested in studying for a career in the Public Services industry, applications for this September are still open. Click here for more details.
