Building Services Engineering (BSE) for Construction – Electrotechnical Engineering (Electrical Installation) T Level

This T Level qualification is a two-year Level 3 course that has been designed in collaboration with employers to help prepare you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work in the building service industry as an electrician or move to higher-level studies.

The qualification consists of classroom theory, practical learning, and industry work placement.

T Levels consist of three elements:

  • Core Content – this is common for all BSE T Levels and looks at the BSE sector along with the wider construction industry
  • Subject Specialism – Electrotechnical Engineering (Electrical Installation)
  • Industry Placement – this is working with an employer for a minimum of 315 hours over the two years

This course is assessed by two core content exams in the first year, a controlled employer-set project and an overall assessment at the end of the second year.
