Footloose! – Performing Arts

Craven College’s Performing Arts students wowed packed audiences recently with their performance of Footloose.

Students performed the 80s smash hit musical at three performances over two days at the Mart Theatre in Skipton.

Footloose is based on the story of a teenager who moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and along with a group of friends, they try and overturn the ban.

Audiences were treated to all the classic tracks of the musical, which include the title song ‘Footloose’, ‘Let’s Hear it for the Boy’ and ‘Holding out for a Hero’.

The dazzling production saw the Performing Arts students on stage, with Media students and Media & Theatrical Make-up students supporting the show.
