Enjoyed your beginners’ Spanish? Build your confidence and develop your ability to communicate more naturally in everyday situations.

This course is designed for learners who have completed a Spanish Beginners course or have a basic understanding of the language and would like to develop their skills further.

You will build on your existing knowledge through practical and engaging activities, expanding your vocabulary and improving your confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish. The course focuses on developing communication skills, enabling you to take part in more detailed conversations.

You will revisit familiar topics such as travel, food and everyday situations, while extending your ability to communicate more personally with native speakers. An introduction to key grammar concepts will support your growing understanding of the language.

By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using Spanish in a wider range of situations.

What you’ll cover:

  • Developing pronunciation and speaking confidence
  • Expanding everyday vocabulary
  • Revisiting key travel and social topics in more depth
  • Talking about personal information and experiences
  • Ordering food and interacting in real-life situations
  • Asking for and giving directions
  • Introduction to basic grammar structures
  • Building longer and more natural conversations

This course uses interactive and practical learning methods, including speaking, listening and group activities.

Spanish is widely spoken across Spain, Latin America and parts of the USA, making it a valuable language for travel and communication.

Entry Requirements

Ideally, have completed the Spanish Beginners course or have some basic knowledge of the language.
