Looking for a unique handmade gift or want to try silversmithing for the first time? Design and create your own bespoke silver ring in just one session. 

This hands-on workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of silversmithing in a friendly and supportive environment. You will learn essential metalworking techniques including measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, forming, and soldering sterling silver. 

By the end of the session, you will have created your own custom-made silver ring to take home, perfect as a gift or a personal keepsake. No previous experience is needed, making this course ideal for complete beginners or those looking to try something creative and practical.

What You’ll Learn: 

  • Introduction to tools and workshop safety 
  • Measuring and sizing a ring correctly 
  • Marking out and cutting sterling silver 
  • Shaping and forming techniques 
  • Soldering and joining metal 
  • Filing, finishing, and polishing your ring 

Entry Requirements

No prior experience is necessary – just creativity and the curiosity to learn a new skill!

All materials required to create your ring are included in the course fee. 

For your safety and comfort, please bring: 

  • Protective clothing (e.g. a flame-retardant apron – not plastic-based materials)
  • Closed-toe footwear
  • Packed lunch and drinks (if attending a full-day session)
