Create a unique clay sculpture of your favourite pet and bring it to life in this fun, hands-on workshop.

This creative workshop gives you the opportunity to design and sculpt your own clay model inspired by your favourite pet or animal. Suitable for beginners, the session offers a relaxed and supportive environment to explore the basics of ceramic sculpture.

With step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor, you will learn how to shape, build and refine clay. You will develop confidence in handling the material while exploring your own creative ideas.

Once complete, your sculpture will be professionally fired and ready for you to collect, resulting in a lasting and personal handmade piece.

What you’ll cover:

  • Introduction to clay and safe working practices
  • Developing ideas from images or reference material
  • Hand-building techniques in clay
  • Shaping and forming your sculpture
  • Refining surface detail
